Seals made with this silicone successfully replace seals previously made of cork, felt, rubber, paper.
It can be used for sealing valve covers, timing chains, thermostats, oil pans, compressors, etc. It is resistant to chemicals found in automotive engines.
Permanently elastic, resistant to temperature universal silicone-based sealing compound Temperature resistance: -60°C to +280°C (short-term up to 300°C)
Usage:
Remove residues of the sealing compound with a plastic spatula. Clean and degrease the sealing surfaces. Apply the Dirko compound. The time for the sealing layer to form is about 5–10 minutes. When joining elements
