Description
Tapered roller bearings (metric size) consist of two separable elements. An outer ring, inside which is one of the inclined bearing races (outer) and an inner ring, on which a cage with rolling elements is mounted. The rolling elements are, from a geometric point of view, cones with truncated vertices. They resemble rollers or cylinders, hence the common name – roller bearings.
